Indications

As adjunctive therapy for the treatment of partial epileptic seizures with or without secondary generalisation in patients with epilepsy aged 16 years and older.

Contraindications

AV-blockade of II and III degree, hypersensitivity to lacosamide.

Usage

When administered orally, the initial dose is 50 mg 2 times/day. Depending on efficacy and tolerability, the dose is gradually increased. The maximum daily dose is 400 mg (200 mg 2 times/day). Treatment cancellation is carried out gradually reducing the dose.
