Fitomenadion
EmulsionHaemostatic agent, synthetic water-soluble analogue of vitamin K
Indications
Haemorrhagic syndrome with hypoprothrombinaemia caused by liver dysfunction (in hepatitis, cirrhosis, mechanical jaundice) and some diseases causing impaired absorption of vitamin K (including peptic ulcer disease, enteritis, chronic diarrhoea, colitis, sprue, intestinal resection, celiac disease, cystic fibrosis of the pancreas, cystic fibrosis, cystic fibrosis). Overdose of indirect anticoagulants (coumarin and indandione series), salicylates, sulfonamides, broad-spectrum antibiotics, anxiolytics. Haemorrhagic diseases in newborns (treatment and prevention). Prevention of increased bleeding before major operations in patients with pathology of the haemostasis system.
Contraindications
Cholestatic jaundice, increased blood coagulation, tendency to thrombosis and thromboembolism, hypersensitivity to phytomenadione.
Usage
It is administered orally, intravenously, intravenously, p/k. Dosage regimen is set individually, depending on the indications, clinical situation, age of the patient.
